My Background
I started my apprenticeship in 1976 with a local builder and quickly learned that there was more to the plastering craft than I’d first imagined!
I was particularly drawn to the decorative and ornamental plasterwork, which led me to college where I earned a distinction in my City & Guilds Qualification.
It has always intrigued me how the craftsmen of yesteryear set out their work to achieve such outstanding and durable works of art, and it is their skill and attention to detail that inspires me to keep my own work to the standards that they have set.
Whether the project is a new and modern building or the sympathetic restoration of an older property I always aim to give the project the best attention to detail possible to leave as high a standard of workmanship as I can.
I enjoy working with clients to bring their ideas and aspirations to fruition and help them obtain the results they desire.
For me there is nothing more satisfying than a happy client who is pleased with my work and the way I’ve carried it out.

Attention To Detail
We have used Paul for many jobs now and quite frankly would never think of using anybody else. His attention to detail and level of craftsmanship is always of the highest standard.
As well as wall and ceiling plastering he has made some outstanding centre pieces for two of our rooms as well as repaired water damaged cornicing. He will give advise on what will work well in a room and everything is made bespoke.
The finished product is always beautiful! We have been delighting with every piece of work he has done for us and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anybody.
Master Craftsman
Paul is a master craftsman who has worked with us on numerous restoration projects in listed buildings since the early 1990’s. He can turn his hand to almost any plasterwork, but is particularly skilled at matching and recreating ornamental cornices. I would thoroughly recommend working with him.
